Opal seems to be at the top of the rat hierarchy. she is afraid of nothing and she's been bravely exploring the cage as soon as she arrived home. Despite that, she doesn't like to be touched.
She has very poor eyesight. Sometimes I can wave a piece of food right in front of her and she'll just turn the other direction walk away (still looking for the snack). It doesn't seem to affect her life in any significant way tho.
Cookie is like a dog. She's adventurous, curious and smart. She follows me around, sits on my shoulder, likes to be pet and is the most focused on training out of the three (well, as focused as a young rat can be).
She also seems to trust me the most out of them all. Sometimes, when I'm on the computer, and I look over at the cage, she's just laying there and staring at me.
Nori is the most timid from them all. She spend the first months hiding from us but now she's just as curious as the rest of them.
Her name of course refers to sea weed but "nori" is similar to "nora" which in polish means "a burrow" and that fits her very well since she loves to burrow and hide.
She has a thin white stipe on her belly. Cute!
