TRINKET:

"a small decorative object, or a piece of jewellery that is cheap or of low quality."

-dictionary.cambridge.org

all of the items presented here are probably worthless in terms of monetary value, but are pretty important to me (or at least i'm glad to have them).

so let me present you my collection of objects, items, things, stuff, amulets, goods, knickknacks, thingamajigs, matter, entities, gadgets, thingamabobs, doohickeys and trinkets :)

btw i'm not a hoarder, i'm a dragon!

old-keys.jpg
x
a pair of old keys.

when i was young, my friend and i pretended that there were dragons locked inside these keys. we clutched them as hard as we could in our hands until they started shaking then we would say that it was caused by the dragon's energy.

two black taper earrings. the one on the top is way bigger than the one on the bottom.

when i began my ear stretching journey i ordered a 1,6 mm diameter taper. they send me this. after i wrote to them i received the correct size - the one on the bottom.

i made it into a necklace and one day while wearing it i lost one of the o-rings :[

snailshells.jpg
x
one big white snail shell, three normal sized snail shells and a small flat shell.

every time i stumble across an empty snail shell i take it home. (i have no idea whose shell is the smallest one cuz i don't think it's a snails')

a-comically-large-paperclip.jpg
x
two silver paperclips. the one on the right is about three times bigger than the one on the left.

i took it from a teacher's desk. normal paperclip for scale :P

a polish metro ticket for 20 minutes.

when i was on a school trip in warsaw a friend of mine and i went to the metro during some free time and drove two stops and got back. this is the ticket.

i love the subway - the noise while the train starts is heavenly. too bad they're aren't any in my area.

a-moze-morze.jpg
x
a green plastic bottle cap with 'A MOŻE MORZE?' written on it.

during a school trip to gdańsk (which is by the sea) i opened a tymbark bottle (tymbark is a brand that make drinks with stuff written on the bottom of the bottle caps) and on it's cap was "a może morze?" which roughly translates to "what about/perhaps the sea?" (może - maybe, perhaps, morze - sea)

so yeah quite the coincidence
